Yeo Bowmen Archery Club was formed in 1963.  You can find us at Johnson Park (Yeovil Sports & Social Club), Yeovil.

Our club members meet in the summer from April – September on Thursday evenings from 6 – 8pm and Sunday afternoons from 2 – 6pm.

This year we will commence shooting outside on Thursday 4th April. Winter shooting is held indoors at Yeovil College Sports Hall from October-March on Sunday evenings from 6 – 8pm.  Weekly shooting fees are charged to help towards the cost of hall hire.

We are affiliated with Archery GB (Trading name of the Grand National Archery Society).

Spring 2012 saw us join onTarget, Archery GB’s new Club Development Programme. Clubs joining Ontarget are making a public pledge to be open and friendly, to advance archery and to pro-actively work with Archery GB and in return clubs will be recognized, rewarded and given support, guidance and advice to develop and improve.

This year we will be running a Beginner’s Course on 26th June & 10th July. This will take the form of two days from 10am – 4pm each day (8 hours in total) , with equipment provided. All ages over the age of 10 years are catered for*.  We are taking booking now. Please note we have a Child Protection Policy

If you have any questions about the club, please contact our Club Secretary, David Bower or send us a message on the Contact Us page.
